PROJECTS COMPLETED

SHALIGRAM RESIDENCE,

Juhu

While designing this 1,077 sq. ft 3 BHK apartment, we kept in mind the client's requirements for a traditional and simple interior design for their home. In order to optimize the uninterrupted views from the living room, we opted to design a seating space with integrated bookshelf overlooking the view. Similarly in the master bedroom, the study and the bed were aligned to optimize the view, while keeping the vastu principles in mind. The design intent was to  have clean lines and simple pastel tones for the spaces. As per the size and location of each room, we played with the colour scheme and the fabrics. Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom has more sunlight and uninterrupted views, so we played with lighter colours and fabrics. Since the guest room is low on sunlight and has minimal open views, we designed it to be a bright and cozy space which stands out regardless. The kitchen design is minimalistic and simple, with white wooden cabinets adorned with brass handles which adds a touch of colour. The overall feel of the house is that of a light hearted space, devoid of excessive furniture or stark colours. This reflects the personality of the family who has a zen approach to their lifestyle.
